Stewart McMillan (President)
Stewart is a versatile musician, producer, broadcaster, and facilitator with extensive experience in the media sector. He has worked as Promotions and Podcast Manager at 3MBS Melbourne and served as a National Grant Assessor for the Community Broadcasting Foundation. Currently, Stewart works within the Australian Public Service.
A former board member of The Victorian Flute Guild (VFG) and Planetary Healing Artists Association of Australia (PHAAA), Stewart contributed to securing grant funding and advancing the missions of these organisations. In 2021, he co-founded Creative Bytes to provide creative digital literacy skills to underserved communities, and he is proud of the charity's remarkable growth over the last three years.
Beginning his career as a professional singer, Stewart has performed with international icons such as Dame Olivia Newton-John, Hugh Jackman, and André Rieu. He has also been part of productions by Opera Australia and Victorian Opera, taking on prominent youth roles. Holding an AMusA (2017), Stewart has studied at The University of Melbourne and Monash University graduating with first-class honours in a Bachelor of Music (2019), where he explored the 17th-century Doctrine of Affections.
He also holds a Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping from Swinburne University and is currently completing a Diploma in Accounting.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Stewart is passionate about volunteerism. He has contributed to organisations such as Musica Viva Australia, The Smith Family, and The Salvation Army. Stewart is dedicated to fostering community connections and believes in the power of collective action to achieve extraordinary outcomes.

Sarah Barzel (Vice President)
Sarah Barzel is an out of the box creative thinker who specialises in running programs to assist people in the community, especially those impacted by the digital divide.
After graduating from The University of Melbourne she taught at a Melbourne secondary school before heading overseas living in Israel and Brazil. During this time, she completed a Masters of Education from Trenton State University in New Jersey. Besides being a secondary school English teacher, school inspector, university teacher trainer and lecturer in Israel and English trainer in Brazil, she was also involved in not-for-profit organisations in both countries.
Since returning in 2002 Sarah lectured at Monash University to overseas graduates, was Education Co-Ordinator at the Jewish Museum of Australia before working as a training consultant to not-for-profits across Australia and in Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Thailand, Cambodia and Hong Kong. Sarah also completed the Certificate of Fundraising Management from The Fundraising School at Indiana University.
As a long-term volunteer, she is currently a weekly program presenter at 3MBS FM, where she also manages monthly membership mail outs and special in-depth interview programs.

Gail Gilham (Treasurer)
Gail has been involved in volunteering with local community groups for the past 25 years. Her strength is in accounting, and she is a Certified Bookkeeper with a focus on Not-for-Profit organisations.
While initially studying Nutrition at Deakin University in Geelong she eventually moved into Accounting and Bookkeeping and worked within the Manufacturing sector. While having a family she began her long association with volunteering on a higher level.
Taking on volunteer work with her local kindergarten and then primary school, Gail ran the volunteer canteen which led her to her career in Food Technology education at both Eltham College and Ivanhoe Grammar School.
Gail finally made her accounting skills formal when she returned to tertiary studies to complete a Certificate IV in Accounting & Bookkeeping at RMIT University.

Sabrina Selorio (Secretary)
Sabrina is a hard-working and passionate legal officer currently working at the Attorney-General’s Department to help manage legal risk across the Commonwealth and previously at the Australian Charities and Not-for-Profits Commission (ACNC).
During her time studying at the University of Sydney when studying a Masters of International Law, Sabrina gained a passion for helping those in need in a more proactive way and volunteered at the Asylum Seekers Centre and the Refugee Language Program teaching refugees English at the University of Sydney.

Heath Gilham
Heath is a Microsoft Azure Certified Data Engineer with proven experience developing and supporting on-premises and cloud data and analytics systems. He brings unique experience helping organisations govern their enterprise data assets.
He volunteers at many nonprofit organisations including Red Cross, Toastmasters International, Global Consulting Group, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and Melbourne University Basketball Club.
Heath started his journey with a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne majoring in Actuarial Studies. He then moved into the data analytics sector to broaden his possibilities.
Heath has provided technical support for large data reporting systems which served hundreds of Coles users and stores, automated data processes to simplify manual processes for multiple teams, and taught colleagues how to use many programming languages and cloud computing technologies.
Heath has developed a wide range of skills through volunteering with many organisations including project management, organisational strategy, leadership, IT administration, and process improvement. He enjoys giving back to the community and sharing his knowledge.

Cheryl Sing (Observer)
Cheryl Sing is the Founder and Director of The Laptop Initiative, a charitable organisation aimed at bridging the digital divide through access to technology.
Cheryl's early career included working with grass roots community groups providing much needed services at a local government level in the western suburbs of Sydney.
Cheryl's career led her to become a corporate communications specialist working with some of the largest companies in Australia encompassing media relations, event management, cultural change, internal communications and crisis management.
More recently Cheryl completed a Diploma in Teaching English as a second language where she hopes to be able to help refugees and asylum seekers as a volunteer teacher.
Recognising the transformative potential of technology to empower individuals she founded The Laptop Initiative. Through this organisation, Cheryl strives to provide laptops to refugees and asylum seekers, those escaping domestic violence and disadvantaged youth.
