Dr. William E. (Bill) Miles
Bill Miles holds a B. Mus. Ed. (Wind and Percussion) from the University of Colorado at Boulder, a M. A. (Prelim.) from LaTrobe University majoring in composition and analysis, and a PhD in Music Education from Monash University. He has lectured at Melbourne, Monash, RMIT and Australian Catholic University (ACU). From 2006-2015 Bill ran the Graduate Diploma of Education and Master of Teaching-Secondary (Music) course at ACU–Melbourne and from 2011 to his retirement in 2018 he lectured in music pedagogy at the Sir Zelman Cowen School of Music, Monash University. He also designed and lectured Business Systems for Multimedia and the Entertainment Industries in the IT faculty at Monash University (1999-2005).
Bill was Chairperson of the Examination Setting Panels and one of the Chief Assessors for the Victorian Certificate of Education Music Performance (Solo & Group) study designs (1995-2010) and for the Music: History & Styles study design (1995-2003). Through those years Bill was a member of the Curriculum Review and Curriculum Design Panels for these music study designs, has been a performance assessor from 1993 to the present, and a VCE-VET Music Industry (Performance) assessor from its inception to the present. Since 1996 he has performed various roles for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma music subjects, including examiner, examinations vetter and the External Advisor–Music.
Currently Bill is a committee member of Kids’ Conference, the Monash Youth Music Festival/ Waverley Eisteddfod Inc. and Music Matinee Inc., is the musical director of Vocally Wild based in the Melbourne suburb of Beaumaris, and presents Sunday Night Late from 10 ‘til midnight every week on 3MBS, Fine Music Melbourne.

Dr Sharon Lierse
Sharon Lierse has a PhD in Education, a Global MBA from Macquarie Graduate School of Management and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She has worked as a university lecturer in Australia and Asia, a management consultant and as an international curriculum specialist for UNESCO. Her academic roles have included Associate Professor in the Faculty of Music and Performing Arts in Malaysia where she was founder and Managing Editor of the Malaysian Music Journal, lecturer in curriculum at the University of Tasmania, lecturer in Arts Education at Charles Darwin University and Manager of Professional Learning at the Australian Council for Educational Research. She has published widely and has given conference presentations around the world including keynote presentations in Europe and Asia. Dr Lierse’s areas of specialty are in arts education, curriculum development, assessment, online learning, sustainability, and excellence in education where she is passionate in promoting educational excellence through working where there is a need for access and opportunity.
Dr Lierse has been on several board and committees including Women Chiefs of Enterprises International (Australia), Editors Victoria, and the City of Boroondara Eisteddfod Advisory Committee. She is excited to be on the Board for Creative Bytes where she can share her knowledge and experience in order to make a positive difference in the community.

Dr Joel Crotty
Dr Joel Crotty has been associated with tertiary music teaching and higher degree supervision for many decades. Coupled with academia he has been associated with the Australian arts industry through membership of various committees and boards of management. Currently he is the Chair, Astra Chamber Music Society as well as being actively involved in the Melbourne Composers’ League. His previous commitments include the Australian Music Centre and Contemporary Music Events. In arts journalism he has been a music critic for Herald Sun, The Age, Opera (UK), and Vivid (Romania) as well as being the music editor for Sing Out (Australian National Choral Association) and he is currently a regular contributor to On Air (3MBS subscribers’ magazine).

Ionatan Maghidman
My name is Ionatán Biniamin Maghidman, I go by Ioni. Originally from Brazil, São Paulo. I'm based in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. I graduated the bachelor of games design of RMIT University with high distinction.
Currently I work as a Motion Graphics Designer for Champion Data, a sports company that provides statistics and graphics for sports in Australia and abroad, including cricket, AFL, golf, netball, etc. I mainly use Unity and Unreal to deliver graphics, as well as Viz Artist.
I run a small indie studio called Quadrado Studios with 3 fellow graduates of RMIT. We are currently developing our first complete game, Garganta, for a future full release on Steam.
As a generalist, I am passionate about multiple areas of game development, predominantly producing, programming, 3D art, writing, music and sound design, though I always continue my pursuit to explore new areas.

Heath Gilham
Heath is a Microsoft Azure Certified Data Engineer with proven experience developing and supporting on-premises and cloud data and analytics systems. He brings unique experience helping organisations govern their enterprise data assets.
He volunteers at many nonprofit organisations including Red Cross, Toastmasters International, Global Consulting Group, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and Melbourne University Basketball Club.
Heath started his journey with a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne majoring in Actuarial Studies. He then moved into the data analytics sector to broaden his possibilities.
Heath has provided technical support for large data reporting systems which served hundreds of Coles users and stores, automated data processes to simplify manual processes for multiple teams, and taught colleagues how to use many programming languages and cloud computing technologies.
Heath has developed a wide range of skills through volunteering with many organisations including project management, organisational strategy, leadership, IT administration, and process improvement. He enjoys giving back to the community and sharing his knowledge.

Ninad Kavi
Ninad is an experienced business and data analyst in the professional services sector. He is currently a senior consultant at EY in their data and analytics practice. He aspires to create simple solutions to solve complex problems underpinned by a user-centric approach and are data-driven.
Upon completing a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Melbourne, majoring in Computer Science, he wanted to apply his technical knowledge to solve real business problems, which led him to take up a consulting role at EY.
From developing insightful dashboards to designing solutions for large scale digital transformation programs, Ninad’s experience covers the banking and financial services, higher education and utilities sector across data science and business analysis roles.
Passionate about volunteering from his university days, Ninad has participated and contributed to various programs run by Engineers Without Borders, Australian Business and Community Network, The University of Melbourne and Monash University in various coordination and mentorship roles.

Nick Tolhurst
Nick Tolhurst retired in 2022 after a career as a health promotion manager and communications consultant. He worked with the Victoria State government on projects promoting better health and awareness for older people, including managing the Victorian Seniors Card and Seniors Festival. Nick spent three years with beyondblue as a Senior Program Manager with portfolios for older people, men, rural populations and indigenous people. He then worked with the Alcohol and Drug Foundation as a communications consultant on a major alcohol management report for the Australian Defence Force, before going into business for himself as a policy consultant.
Upon retiring in 2022 Nick became a volunteer with 3MBS 103.5 FM, where he produces the Arts Weekly program.
Nick has been a Registered Marriage Celebrant since 2008. Above all, Nick has been a lifelong choral singer and this remains his passion.

Beth Camier
Beth is a passionate and skilled professional who specialises in building trusted relationships and leading teams across corporate and not for profit organisations.
With a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Information Systems majoring in Marketing, Beth has a solid understanding of business and technology domains. She utilises this knowledge along with sound business acumen and concise communication to drive exceptional outcomes.
Beth is a Principal Consultant at InfoCentric, one of Australia’s leading Cloud, Data and Analytics professional services firms. She is an experienced Account Director and Project Manager, leading InfoCentric’s relationships across the Financial Services, Insurance and Higher Education sector for over six years. Through understanding the finest details, Beth enables clients to innovate and transform their operations through harnessing the power of data.
In addition to her management role at InfoCentric, Beth has always taken great pride in helping those less fortunate and giving back to the community. Beth has volunteered for countless not-for-profit organisations including; Red Cross, The Oaktree Foundation, YMCA, Neighbour Watch and Community Sports groups.
